Hello everyone,

What is the scope of getting job for a chemical engineer immigrating to Canada with no Canadian work experience? What should be done to get a decent job in the field of chemical engineering? Do I need to study with a co-op program? Should I get my academic credentials done at WES? I have work experience of 6 years, in plant operations/production and plant designing and project management.

Please suggest. Thank you. :)

Alberta was good for chemical engineers. But now no jobs available in the market due to oil crisis. Hope it may improve from next year summer. Try jobs in Edmonton and Calgary Alberta online. Search thro Google, indeed.ca and company websites. Also try for Masters in Alberta and Calgary Universities.
