I am collecting all my documents to apply for CEC, I tried searching through the forum, i wanted to ask if anyone has prepared an extensive check list which might include more documents than what is listed on CIC website, so I don't miss any extra/recommended documents.

u don't need to provide anything special other than what is written on cic documents checklist. There are also additional supporting documents on the checklist to provide should in case u need. Don't complicate issues by providing what is not requested.

Extra documents like what? Michael Bublé tickets?

Seriously though, if you're able to provide exactly what's on the document checklist, then nothing else is needed. Are you unsure about which documents you need to provide for one or more of the checklist items? (e.g. identity documents)

ujbaby & LPS are right, dont submit anything over and above what the checklist demands. It will be a waste of time and effort doing so and will not strengthen your case. If they need more during the course of processing your file they will ask for it, thats something you cannot predict.
