As far as I know, your qualification is only important for getting admission only. It does not effect visa application as far as I am concerned. VO just checks for the genuineness of the academic documents and relevancy of your previous studies with that you are going for in Canada.

What do you mean by "my study is correspondence"? BTW I have no clue on the requirements for SPP. Sorry I just know about the regular study permit application.

hey man don't confused....UGC didn't mention anywhere in certificate that student had done correspondence study...certificate is same as regular study...no one challenge it...one thing more juz show only one degree to VO n choose the course related to ur study...else all the best...

I'm going to study after 8 years of gap (was working). Got visa in 11 days without interview.

have done bams 2016 with 73 prcnt marks.in 12 th 70 prcnt.in 10th 78 prcntno back logsmy overall score 6.5 .r 6.5 .l 7.5 s 6.5.w5.5.i have applied for advanced health leadership in lambton college.but got refusal under sppAnd my previous didnt attach sopBut now i applied under same coursein non spp.also attached income tax returns of family..financial support documentsexperince lettersalary slips.bank statement.sopcover letter.can i get visa now these things not attached previously

I got refusal for canada student visa yesterday.under SPP
Rejection reasons r as follow.
1- VO is not satisfied that i would leave canada at the end of my study they said purpose of visit.
2- i hvnt provided credible reason to pursue choosen study i m pursuing the study which i hv already completed in india with many of same courses.

My profile is as follow.
Grade 10- 69%
grade 12- 62%
Diploma in pharmacy- 48%
Degree in pharmacy- 7.33 CGPA
total back log in degree---6
Work experience- 4 years in a same field ( 1 year in india as assistance pharmacist and 3 years in africa as business development manager)
Ielts score - 6.5 with no less than 6 in each.
Choosen study in canada- community pharmacy assistance (1 year programme)

Many of my college batch mate got the visa on same course.

I m thinking of reapplying under NON SPP category.with explanation letter to VO
Shud i get the visa?
Please advise.

spp or non spp dsnt matter..wht matter is ur profile...i got visa under non spp after 34 days...my profile..was so complicated...m.sc( it) in 2012..job exp more den 5 years...in teaching field..nd m going for project management and strategic leadership..in my case everthing was irrelevant like my proposed studies were different from my previous study nd my job exp..no one was ready to handle my case..bt finally it was my strong sop dat helped ne lot to secure visa nd efforts of canam consultants chandigarh..so spp non spp is not a issue
