checking my application on line

Holy crap man, relax.

You should try search the forum, a vast majority of the people's applications are OPENED and decided on the same day.

It doesn't mean they recieved it on the 6th, that is the day the opened it. So they opened it and made the decision for sponsorship on the same day.

Relax and wait for the letter. There is nothing much more you can do but wait.

Yah man you know i was confused since i waiting this since January as i said before they send me back in past few months 3 time. but this time when i check on line its says they gave me the decision.. i spend lot of money man that why.

thanks you so much but anyway So if its approved how come web site docent says that what they going to do with my other stuff i mean sri lanka part. they didn't mention in there that they send to sri lanka or anything they just says me like that
why ? is it normal too ? i mean not telling anything in there web site ? is it normal ?

mostly i 'm wondering why they never tell about what they doing to my local part

The website will show the next step when the application is received at SL, there will be more information added after that. It will take atleast another week or so before you see that the application is now in process at the SL CIC embassy. The letter will say that you have been approved and that the application has been sent to SL for further processing.

But dont hold your breath about finding out what is going on with your application at the SL CIC emabassy..apart from it showing in process it will not show anything until a decision is made.....

One thing I learned going through it all... don't wait on e-cas.... it is near useless. We had 3 updates to ours the entire process.

The process is a follows (generally speaking):

Sponsorship Approval at CIC-Missisauga
CIC Mississauga sends app to local embassy
Local embassy processes back ground checks and accesses application for validity
(there may be an additional step if more info is required or if there are issues with your app, or if you require an interview)
Application is approved or denied


It is a lot of waiting. If you try searching the forum for other threads that people have posted before freaking out you will remain sane and calm and it will be a lot easier.

Wait for the embassy to communicate with you. It's hard, I know it from experience.... but it is a lot of waiting and not knowing.
