Checking application on E-CAS with which file #? Help Seniors!!!

Hi. When I sent my application to Sydney, NS, I received a letter from them requesting me to submit my documents within 120 days to Buffalo, NY. On that letter, there was a file # that I could check my application on E-CAS. Now, that I have sent all documents to Buffalo, NY and they received it on April 9th, does that mean that I should no longer try to check my status o E-CAS with the file number I have because they will assign me another file umber when I receive my AOR?

You first recieved AOR from Sydney , Right? If File number on Sydney AOR and File number on Letter are defferent, then probably File number on Letter is your File number for next all process. I am not sure as i have no experience with Sydney if they can Issue file numbers for Buffalo, wait for answer from Applicants within US.

I guess once they receive you documents in Buffalo and enter you in their system, the file No you got from Sydney, NS should not be valid any longer and you should wait for the AOR from Buffalo to check your status on line.
