Check the status of application.

Hi Friends

Im from kuwait and my husband has applied for the Student visa to Abu Dhabi consulate office for pursuing post graduate studies in canada and for me as his spouse for Open Work permit.

We would like to check the status of our application's sent on 17/05/08. What exactly is the procedure after submitting the application?

Please advise in how many days will we be informed about the file reference no. OR will we get some kind of an acknowledgment that the application processing had started from Visa office Or we have to wait till the processing period (4-6 weeks) is over.

You will have to wait to get the refusal or the approval.

visit the Cadian Embassy website of your country.. for example, here in Mexico.. on the website it says that we have to wait for 21 work days to get an answer... if the 21 days have passed, there is a form that we have to send to the embassy in order to obtain information..... let us know what happens in the future.. for now, I give my best wishes to you and your husband..
