check status online

Hi Need help
Am a PR and sponsoring my wife from india . My application was recieved on June 8th at CIC mississauga . I haven't got any update so far.
How can i check my status online. and will it delay my process in any kind if i check it online. Plz advice.

You need your Receipt or another piece of identifying document (PR # etc). Go to https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

Follow the instructions.

No, it doesn't affect your application to check your status online. If you don't get a result, then your application has not yet been processed. They are still working on June applications, so you need to be patient a while longer.

Mine was received June 8th as well and I still haven't heard anything yet either, don't worry.

Mine was received on May 16th and I still haven't heard or am able to check my status online. They claim to not have a back log, well, hello I'm on day 81 so far!..
