hello frnds ..i am from punjab ...
i wanted to submit my file under general .study permit (NON SPP)

if i will sumbmit my file at New Delhi CHC ...is it gud ..or any negative effect?

@ OnOff, I read somewhere on this forum, that people from Punjab needs to submit their documents @ Chandigarh Office instead of New Delhi.

On/Off,

Jigzyy is correct. Even if you submit your application @ New Delhi center, it will be forwarded to Chandigarh office for processing.

Ali,

I think you have all the required docs. Follow the checklist, prepare a good SOP and apply for your visa soon.

This is highlight of a visa seminar conducted by CHC New Delhi. It happens every year and they answer questions from students in a live forum.

In 2011, the seminar was in Lodhi Road, near IHC.

I attended it in 2011 and got some answers from the visa officers that might be useful for others in the forum.

Best of luck to everybody!

Thanks,
GS
