CHC ND returned all wedding docs, they already requested PP earlier.Whats next?

Hi,

I received all my docs back from CHC ND today except my PP. They already requested my PP earlier last month, today they returned my wedding docs along with a letter as an acknowledgement of returning docs. They have not returned my PP yet, I dont know what is going to happen next?

Hi giti,

I received my all original docs like DOB, 10th Pass Cert, Wedding pictures, hotel bills & a letter acknowledging that they are sending docs. I sent the photocopies of few other docs havent received those ones. And on top of that I havent received the air tickets & boarding passes i sent along with application. Looks like they have kept those as well.

I just checked our status online and it says "decision made". I am very relived to see it but not sure what would be the next step. any idea how long it can take for us to receive the passport back. and does it mean they have decided to give us the visa??

Sorry for the delay, I happened to check your question only just now.
COPR is "Confirmation of Permanent Residency". The 'Kit' means usually talked for the package containing the original COPR ( or CPR) and some pages of landing instructions and guides for a person going to become a PR of Canada.

You really should have sent it by a courier which would be able to give you confirmation of delivery. I doubt CHC ND would respond to an email asking if they have received your PP

I sent inquiry email to CHC on Monday to find out if my passport was recived by CHC or not, todad they replied with the follwoing:

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi .



Your application for a permanent resident visa was approved. The passport was sent to you by registered mail on 03 MAR 10 .

It generally takes eight to ten days for registered mail to reach its destination. You should be receiving your documents shortly.

Hello everyone,

finally the wait is over..!!! My husband got his passport back with the visa stamp. just thought i should let everyone here know. his status changed to decision made this monday, 1st march and we received all his documents as well as the passport back on friday, 5th march. i wish you all good luck esp. dd1for2 and neergiti. hope you all get it soon

Anyone know, Does it affect Spouse Immigration process if I have taken a consolidation loan recently. But i have full time job with Ministry of Health. To add more according to CHC, they have already sent out my wife's passport on March 03.

I don't think taking a loan would matter at all. if there were any issues finance wise I think they wouldn't have approved the sponsorship in the first place. So i would suggest do not worry about this. I am pretty certain your wife's visa is on the way and you will receive it early next week All the best to all.
