Did anybody ask Abu Dhabi about passports through email or phone?

Dear Kool_V5,

Looks like your PP will be sent to you from Abu Dhabi. The date is definitely confusing.

My PHEP stated that PP to Q8 will only be sent using couriers due to teh unpredictability of the mail services in the country. Only thing i noticed is that you have given a POB address couriers dont delivery to that - i hope you have included your mobile #.

Anyhow why dont you try calling ARAMEX which seems to the be preferred mailer by CHC.

Hi! Guys, I sent email to CHC stating tht 6 weeks past and my spouse Kuwait residency is about to expire now, which can be verified from passport. After few reminders, they sent me a reply on 3 June, which is also confusing:

I can not make out which date is correct and when they have dispatched or going to dispatch our passports. This email is like a puzzle for me ???

Abu Dhabhi email addresses are : abdbi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and abu-dhabi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca .

My VO did mention in my email that they have intimated AUH to dispatch the PPs.

I gave office address on Gulf Road not P.O. Box address. I believe without proper information, no use of calling Aramex and this delay is not from Aramex actually.

No reply from them. They seem to be even worse than CHC LDN. But I feel its worth sending an email to Abu Dhabi CHC atleast they will know how slow they are.

I feel myself on a real roller-coaster ride from last few months.....but Alhumdolilah, all well if ends well.

I think you are right. Why dosent CHC London send the PP direct to the the applicants. It will be much more efficient and faster.

As per PPR, they send the PPs to AUH to ensure that they are transferred in a secured manner. And above all they would not bother how much time it takes to return the PPs as its a headache for the applicant not for CHC.

Normally AUh wont respond to this inquiry as this is not their case specific query.... But if u are so lucky u might get an email . but usually guys get PP back after the ecase bcome DM in 1-14 days . this is the style since last 2 1/2 years as i know.

Hi Liferocks,
I too recvd a similar email. They said they have sent the PPs to AUH last week. My Officer seems to be good one who said he/she will inform CHC AUH to fasten the despatch of PPs.
BTW Liferocks, where are you based?

soon we will seeeeee that. we all waited this long - so its cool to wait for another few days only where we know 100% we are getting our PP back. same time think/pray of our brothers who applied on 2007 Oct and still waiting for doc request.
