Dear forum mates,

I got my my PPR and LVO asked me to submit my passport by post or in person. At the moment my question is do I have to submit my passport myself or i can send somebody on behalf of me to submit my passport?

Please provide your valuable comments if anybody have any idea or experience.

Thanks and Regards,

Green

The instructions are there in the PPR document, if someone else is going to submit it on your behalf.

Are you or your friend based in London?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I myself in London but due to some reasons i'd like to check if i could send somebody to deposit my pp on behalf of me. PPR instructions states about deposit in person and collections as well as describes how somebody could collect on behalf of me but nothing specific about deposit.

Thanks

Green

guys i need some help on the service fees with visa application centre in london.

i am not living in the UK and will only send in our passport for visa stamping.

the first question i have is in relation to the Service Charge for Application Handling. the price noted is per applicant.

Including me, we have 3 members in the family submitting passports — question is am i the only applicant or is the service charge for each passport we submit?

Secondly, what is the difference between "Courier Delivery of Applications to Applicant, upon receipt from visa office" and "Secure transmission of passport to the Embassy of Canada in London, upon request by visa office"? do we need to pay for both or does the second one not apply in our case?

lastly, there is a requirement of "A maximum of one processed passport shall be returned per envelope" - if we are sending the passports in one courier bag, is it ok to provide them with only one prepaid bag for the whole family (3 passports)?

thanks!!

If you are talking about VFS, I suggest you contact them directly, as there is still some confusion on whether they can receive passports from outside UK for stamping of permanent resident visas. If they do guide you on the process please do share it with everyone on this forum, as it is a newly implemented system.
