Does its mean they will refuse current applicans and wait for new?

I have seen refusal of on applicant he was given 22 points for 10 year education and he was refuse due low points not to reach 67 and his NOC was plumber, the refusal was given five month before this mean they are helping, and also i have seen that visa office has to take decision in fever of applicant.

L think being refusing current applications seems to be bad for CANADA one applicant reached final stage for decision like medicals after penful process and end with refusal meanwhile minister said we have to be flexible.

One of my friends (AOR Sept 2007 waiting for medicals) received the following email from CIC London:

Dear Sir/Madam,


CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. Since we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time. Until we receive further instructions from Parliament, we cannot predict when processing on your application will recommence.

Dear all,

Although I try to reply personal messages within 3-5 days but every day I got about 20-35 e-mails from the valued members of this forum. I will further say please don't send the same enquiry repeatedly and allow some time to respond as replying with correct information is a time consuming process. It is also entirely understandable that the FSW applicants are anxious about their PR applications.

I will also suggest all of you to participate in the CIC survey for the new FSW selection criteria and raise various issues such as long waiting times etc or any other issue which you think important and there is a need to be changed.

The General answer to most of the personal messages is,

CHC London is busy to roll over applicant's data to GCMS and will fully resume the processing of FSW applications by April 2011. Ottawa applicants data will also be available on GCMS.

The FSW application processing is in the transition stage and the CIC may introduce the new FSW selection criteria by July 01, 2011.

The fast track post February 2008 applications are nowadays moving forward in a speedy way.

Am a March 2007 applicant and waiting for medical ,so from ur own information could u plz tell me if CHC London are gonna to process my application as I received an email from them 5 months ago that my application is under background/security checks, or they will resume the process next year? Can I expect to receive medical test soon or when?

As per my knowledge and information FSW London based applicants who got update instructions during October/November 2009 may be put on hold until next parliament priority instructions which either be in July 2011 or in November 2011.

Hi Nectar!
I have a question and would be very grateful if you could shed some light....
I recently ordered my CAIPS notes.....the last entry says file sent to PA with a BFD of Feb 4th 2011(which has since passed)

One of the entries was:
ONCE FEE HAS BEEN TAKEN PLEASE RETURN FILE TO PIL

The last entry was:
NAMES TAKEN AS PER PPT
FILE TO PA

Between these two entries, my file was reviewed once on a routine BFD date.

CHC_London has replied in Jan 2011 that my file is undergroing routine background checks.

My Questions (finally!...phew..):
1. Do you think my file is on indefinite hold? Or is it under active processing for finalization? (I am an Aug 2007 applicant & my Meds and Rprf were submitted in September and the IMS-Visa section was notified that I was designated an M01 in early October 2010)
2. What is "PA" and "PIL"?
3. Why do you think my names were taken as per PPT....I havent seen this comment for any other applicant.

We transferred your application to the London England office on June 1, 2010. The London England office may contact you.


my status changed Eligibility Review Completed to In process is this a good sign??? actually what happened when i sent my full documents to CHC London office PROOF OF FUNDS documents were missed. just today only I courier that docs. to them.

is there any problem sending proof of funds this much late Huh?

and the most important thing is till now i did not receive 2nd File Number............but status showing IN PROCESS.

Based on my observation, i think your AOR is on the way. and your status will revert to Recieved by Visa Office in few days. do update us when that happens.
