1. Can i sponsor my husband as i am not working ?
You can since there is no restriction of income in family class[spouse]
2. Do i need his original educational documents ?

Salam, it can take from two weeks to two months In Sha Allah and sometimes longer. It all depends how many places you have lived.

-My Ecas changed to DM on Nov 17th
-I got email to send passport visa is ready to Issue on Nov 18th
-We send passport on Nov 20th
-Islamabad received on Nov 21st
-When can I expect it back ?

Also my husband send return envelop can we some how track if it was mailed by Islamabad?

Salam, its means they are doing background checks on all things it could include Education, or Security Checks. I see your application is 2012 so maybe they will need Police Certificate and new Medical as well. At least they are working on your case. I pray you get good news soon In Sha Allah......

First of all you need to be a Canadian Citizen to apply, second your spouse who you are sponsoring must sign a form that called a represented and you ask for Access to Information and you must pay $5.00 it takes about 30 days. In Sha Allah

Background checks can be started at any time and includes Education to Criminal checks. Its done before or after medical.

A.A! Hoping u all will be fine and having good health. I inquired from LVO through e-mail and their reply (about a week ago) is as under.
“Dear Applicant,
We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
We haven't sent you a passport request. Please note that this file is still ongoing routine background checks.
We will be in touch when they are complete."

Kindly share experience how much further time it takes to complete routine background checks, pls?

29 June , 2012 - Received sponsorship approval letter in Canada, "Decision Made", file sent to Islamabad,Pakistan
30 April , 2014 - e-CAS log-in, " Processing of Application is stared"
20 May , 2014 - E-mail received from London office[Re-medical , Police certificate, updated Background/declaration form "IMM5669E", RPRF – have to pay by sponsor in Canada]
05 June , 2014 - Medical done ( that was e-medical)
08 June , 2014 - Medical received in London Office
14 June , 2014 - Received in London Visa office through Fedax (Re-medical receipt, paid RPRF receipt, Police certificate, updated Background/declaration form "IMM5669E")
10 June , 2014 - Sent same Soft copies through E-mail in London Visa office (Re-medical receipt, paid RPRF receipt, Police certificate, updated Background/declaration form "IMM5669E"
