are we required to book an appointment to get re-medical at IOM in karachi? if so what is phone number for appointments are the number listed on the internet is not in service
and also they usually request to bring the passport but what happens if the passport is with Islamabad embassy, would they accept a copy

This is what I got an email reply but I already booked the appointment over the phone around 9am @ 051-111-466-472. IOM email: canmedpk @ iom.int

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your email.

You are scheduled for Canadian Health Assessment against date 10th February, 2015 at 9:00 AM at IOM sub office Karachi.

Required documents to bring:

1. Valid Original passport along with 2 photocopies of first two pages of passport.

(If original passport is with CIC, please bring original CNIC (for adults) and Family Relationship Certificate(FRC) issued by NADRA (for children) along with two photo copies of passport.

2. Medical Request Letter/ Acknowledgement Letter from Canadian High Commission (if have any).

3. Vision card or any previous medical history record (if have any).

4. Total Fee for the above mentioned is PKR.6,720 it should be in cash.

5.No need to come in Fasting

Health Screening is comprises of following and according to visa class & age.

Blood Sampling (If required according to visa class)

· General Physical examination.

· Chest X-ray according to age

· Urine Examination according to age



General Instructions:

For Children 5 to 11 years

They have to bring the result sheet of the last annual examination.

For Elderly

Applicants have to mention about their Mobility need.

For All ages

As part of general physical examination all body skin would be examined except genitalia so be prepared and wear appropriate undergarments.

For Female

It is advice able to all female applicants that not to proceed health screening during their monthly period. In case of your monthly periods, please get appointment date on any later date

Note: Do not bring any kind of luggage and unnecessary belongings with you.

Parking facility is not available at IOM clinics.

i never inquired abt ma case since i filed it
not i ordered notes ever
so this was the first time i send an inquiry
i asked them that its been a month since i done remedical
whats the status of ma case
and many applicants actually not received pprz when embessy already send them
may be due to a error they didnt receive it
so em worried abt ma ppr
thats it
they replied back after 5 days wd ppr

Yes you have to book appointment by calling/emailing ISB.
If you do not have original PP with you, you have to take copy of that. Copy of PP and original NIC is a MUST thing you have to have.

can someone guide me on the current process to sending the passport to get the visa?

the PPR forwards us to the VFS Visa Application Center website. and there they mention to send the passport and documents to the VAC either in person or via courier to the following office (for lahore)

My question here is that, do I send my documents via TCS to the address above? and they will take care of sending the passport to the embassy for visa issuance? and once issued, will my passport be sent back to my home address or the CVAC address above?

I got the same email, but in the pdf it says exclusively "send to ISLAMABAD" in bold twice. But i'm also confused about how to send it as the website says drop it in person or send by courier. So, I guess I will also be telling my husband to go to the office in Lahore to help guide him inshaAllah. Good luck to both of us!

who said you cant send passport on your own ?
commom dont make things complicated jusrst send it through any courier service
they send orginal documents under special care and charge a bit
so just relax

How to send Passports to Islamabad

there are two methods depends on passport request e mail.

1. If passport request e mail = Street address: Diplomatic Enclave, Sector G-5

Ans: Then courier service = what ever u want

2. If passport request e mail = Via Visa Application Center (VAC)

Ans: Then collect information from their official web site http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/pakistan/ and see for passport transmit services.

Only Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad cities have Visa Application Centers so residents of these cities should go to Visa Application Center by person to submit their passport @ a fee of rs:1,750/- and they will send our passport in royal and VIP packaging. U will b given a tracking number of 20 digits. Then u can also track ur passport from above mentioned web site. When our passports got visa stamps then they will dispatch our passports to concerned Visa Application Center (VAC). They will inform us in 3 ways when our passports will b ready to pick:-

1. Status update on their website on our tracking number.
2. A sms on our given mobile number
3. A call from concerned Visa Application Center (VAC).

Passports submitted via courier companies have only two benefits.

1. Low fee
2. Delivery of passport at ur doorstep.

And

Passports submitted via Visa Application Center (VAC) have these benefits or disadvantages.

1. High price
2. Vip safe packaging
3. Quick delivery in 24 hrs
4. Arrival of pp after visa in safe hand
5. Tracking

well i just came to know that i supose to send me pp through vac and i did it through regular service
fault is mine i didnt read email carefully in excitement
now em worried
anyone suggest me what could be done in this situation?
