I haven't gotten an email yet?! Would be lawyer/immigration consultant be getting that or is that direct to us or my spouse who is getting sponsored?

I got an email... CIC will email you on whatever email address you provided on PR portion of the application i.e. on IMM0008 form.
If you've got a representative, and s/he gave his/her email, then he will get the email.

As per the ppr request that I got today, it mentions that based on the new instructions, applicants should use VAC to submit passport, so that's what I'll be using.

BTW, through VAC, u also have the option of having the ppr delivered at ur home through prepaid return service i.e. don't necessarily have to pick-up.

If I have the option of propping off the passport to the CVAC and picking it up from there I wouldn't mind that, I just don't want to add the extra wait of sending the passport to the VAC first and then they mail it to me....don't want to lose my passport in between....just my thought lol

okay, i am waiting for PPR too since sep. so is your ecas has changed into DM or still inprocess?

Alhamdullillah...the online status was changed to Decision made today and after a few hours, my wife also received her PPR request!!!

For those interested, my timeline is on the left.

One thing to note is that they've updated the ppr transmit method to be through VAC (as per instructions in email and attachment - no more return label needed).

Congratulations to all the other members who have received passports back!

MA MA very very lucky.....congratz n enjoy ur life.
