Seriously bro this wait is killing us. i guess its human nature to just expect the worst esp. w/ CIC ... i'm practically begging God for this passport back with the visa. and the fact that they don't reply is just adding to the frustration.

Yeah bro. But they stamped the visa on Jan 14. It took them roughly a week to send back the passport. Maybe you passport has already been stamped.

Further update:
My MP's assistant finally called back to provide an update. She said CHC-Isbad has confirmed they have wife's passport, there are no issues with it & the reason for the delay is due to high volume at the consulate. It is in queue for processing and will be mailed back to my wife. But there is no ETA.

When I said I know for a fact that ppl that sent passport same time as my wife (even after) and they have got theirs back already she said this is due to prioritizing with those who's medicals are expiring first, as the visa is only valid until 1yr after medical was done.

Soooo basically we have to shut-up and wait lol
I ordered Notes yesterday also .... let's wait and see is all we can do now. I have dilapidated all resources available to us.

aoa. Congratulations . You just send by tcs your original passport to the visa section Canadian high commission Islamabad . And very next day your post will delivered to the office.i also use this address . tcs guys know where is embassy so donot worry. Best of luck . Naveed
