I got mine back immediately after my husband got AOR. So it is not a hard n fast rule, it depends. Some get after final processing and soe get them never :o
Ahan so that means w.r.t Conditional PR the spouse will get COPR only right? And what if spouse needs to travel back in home country? Would it be possible to travel; I assume there is multiple entry visa on the PP then. Right?

Umm why won't you get a PR card? That will be issued to you obviously but it will be conditional. If you don't fulfill the requirement of staying with ur sponsor for two years, CIC will have the right to revoke it. Nothing complicated for ppl who have condition 51 on their PR.

does any body if we need to send the old passport too along with our current passport for visa stamping. We have only sent the recent passport.

No you don't have to send the old passports. Just the one he will be travelling on. Did you inform them about the new passport being issued? Or did you send the copy of this passport only with a initial application??

how long after ppr1 did u receive ppr2

I am wondering if senior memebers can advice me please. My husband's medical will expire on 19th of Dec. I got mixed up with the dates and intially thought it will expire on 27th Dec. We faxed chc as reminder that it will expire on 27th. Do you guys think it is wise to notify them again or even give them a reminder that 2nd medical is going to expire on 19th of this month?

I received from Islamabad. It was a generic one. Didn't seem like it was from Visa officer.
