Yes, chances are eligibility is complete that's why they sent you re-med ... rePcc is for criminality check so that remains ..

Its optional cz they seem to be satisfied with ur proof of relationship ... if you wish to update them voluntarily you may send these ...

Hello All,

I wanted to get some feedback from those who might have been in my situation.

1. My spouse received re-medical request last week from London and will be going for re-medical in early December. They did not ask for any other docs.
2. In parallel, I have been working on applying for TRV and the documents are complete and I was planning to apply (online) this week.

Now that a re-medical has been requested by London visa office, I am concerned that if I apply for TRV and the passport is requested, then Islamabad may keep the passport for a long time and while the passport is in Islamabad for the TRV application, we might get a request for the passport for the PR application from London. I know that Islamabad office is not consistent with how long they take to return passports.

I had the following questions that may perhaps make it easier to decide next steps:

1. What is the next step after re-medical?
2. In general, after doing the re-medical how long after does London VO proceed to next step ?
3. How much time do they give you once London Visa office requests you to provide passport for stamping of visa?

Anyone else in similar situations ? Is it worth taking the risk and applying for TRV anyway?

Thanks for your time.

1) after re-medical usually its ppr1/ppr2 or both (prob ppr2 for u as 2013 cases they havent been asking for ppr1 - they have that info already through some earlier step usually)
that's what is happening on avg cases
2) usually 1-3 months on avg
3) this is mostly a asap case, or in 15 days or 30 days scenarios

4) although you can go ahead with all the trv stuff, but i would recommend against it... you are about 4-5 months (worst case scenario) away from getting that visa stamped as it is... so why even bother, but if u can't wait then go ahead, there are ways of doing trv etc...
