i have a Question my ecase 26 august ko decision made howa hai and may ne passport 8 September ko send kar diya hai onho ne email may lika tha ke apka passport hamare pas 2 weeks tak reh skta hai so may passport within due time receive kar lon ga ya 1 month wait karo ga jaise dosre kar rahe hai

When i applied for my wife's sponsorship, i had submitted the original birth certificate for my wife / myself and our Nikah Nama. It was a requirement at that time in the checklist. (I think it still is required)

Now that my wife has landed in Canada, i was waiting for the original documents to return back to me. But they never did, so i called up the call center and they told me i was not suppose to submit the original documents. As the visa office aboard does not return the documents.

Also, when i filed the documents i check marked and signed the form so that my documented will return back to me.

Did anyone else submitted original documents and were successful in getting them back to them?

I was visiting my wife in Pakistan last month and we received a re-medical request on August 27. They also asked for police certificate, passport details, height and eye color.

We were able to schedule an appointment in IOM Lahore for September 5. I drove to Lahore from Gujrat in the floods and my car almost drowned trying to get to the IOM office.... water came inside the car up to my knees but we made it!!!

Hopefully we will get the passport request soon. Please pray for us.

2 other people that I know also received medical requests in the same week.

They have increased the time,now its 33 months, Omer from where did you get the information that their goal is to increase the time for Pakistan to 40 months by end of next year.

MashAllah Good news for you .. What i feel CIC ISB will send passports all togather to everyone who is waiting for their passports

So many members receive their original documents back .. Don't worry they will send you back

And one thing i would like to know in how many days your wife receive passport with visa stamp ?

I don't think they will increase more because CIC London office really doing speedup process to clear the backlog .. I would suggest be positive and pray that every one of us with our spouse very soon

You can use this portal to send ur files.. There is a restriction on size limit so you have to make sure it should not exceed the given limit. Hope that helps.
