I agree with you. They cannot freeze this. I just spoke with my MP, they said that it is a rumour, so Don't belief it
I have also spoken to a few consultants and immigration lawyers here in the Toronto Area and it is a rumour.
I am not beleiving it unless more facts are given. There is nothing in the news.

It can't be true that our cases are going to get freezed. Right? I mean Canada is already taking huge criticism for having the highest time lines for spouse cases. And spouse cases are important cases which cannot be delayed. What do u ppl think? I m feeling scared now.

Who's Criticizing them ? Pakistani's ... like they would care. CIC can delay it as much as they want...in their words it's a privilege not any one's right

My wife did her remedical on sep 2nd is there any way to find out if LVO recived her remedical report ...

Check ur ecase after 4-5 days,usually chc mention it there...MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECIEVED.
Bt its not for all cases,some time they update on time n some time they dont update on time.

Well, freezing means they will be putting all the cases on hold and won't be issuing any visas.

You guys will hear about it soon from different sources. I hope it's not true but I have no reason to believe my MP is lying. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I didn't really ask him why. I am meeting him again this week so I will ask more details about it.

I think all of us should check with our MPs if they know anything about it. We can sit here and make fun of each other or do something about it. Remember we're all together in the same boat. I am telling you what I was told and really hope this information is not true. Maybe your MP will know something more about it or maybe in the end my MP will turn out to be a misinformed a-hole.

cic can do any thing they want remember in 2012 they closed all immigration cases which were submitted before 2008 august with out any proper reason so they can do any shit or bull shit.

Now come to the point. I asked to someone who very closely handle immigration cases about this news. Freezing cases. First he laugh and then again he laughed and said. Kahan say asi khbrain sun ker ata ha. Then he said asi koi baat nai agar unho nay visa dayna ya case freeze hi kernay han then first thing they will stop people to file new cases and then they will go further but there is nothing like this. They did not stop or anything for immigration. In the end he said asi ..... shoot krnay wali khbran na suna ker. Boys will get my last line. Lol

AOR received on 22 Jan 2013.

received medical request on Aug, 27 2014.

Medical done Sept 5. 2014.

it is a good news so far. Alhamdulillah.

question

how long does it usually take after that second medical medical???

o BTW God blessed me with a son as well, during this process, his proof of citizenship was applied beginning of this year.
