Salam everyone. i applied recently in 15 may 2014...

how long does it take to get the approval as a sponsor thing??

and by any chance what i can read .are they doing cases at a faster pace ??? any updates on that??

Well the sponsorship approval time is mentioned on cic website, it's about 55 days I guess so you will get the email in a week or two.
London is doing better than isb but still there is a huge backlog

congratz to everyone who got their visa, especially 2011 friends. i know we had suffered so much and waited for too long but finally we get what we want, congratz friends. for 2012 cases i would like to say i hope you will join your spouse soon inshaALLAH. be patient.

hey hubby thanks my friend, i will pray for u to receive ur pp back asap! Thanks to all the senior members who put in the time and effort the past few years, through all the hard times and the constant changing of our expected timeline we stuck together... Most of us applied thinking it would take only a year to a year and a half. Our lives were greatly effected by the unknown. I wish all the best to those who recently applied, but my deepest and most sincere wishes are with the folks waiting the longest.

So after 2 Years 5 Months and 15 days, finally got the passport back with visa stamped today.

PPR 1 - Jun 13
PPR 2 - Jun 25
Passport back with visa July 3

Wish everyone good luck with their process. Keep the patience going.

Guys my husband got his PP back with visa today!!!
He sent it in june 30th ecas changed to decision made next day and he received it today.
Total time 26 months.... Still cant believe it. Wish you all goodluck in this process & lots of duas.
Thanks to everyone on here i still have a bit of sanity left

If the file has been transferred to London in Feb 2014 how long it can take to have any up date by LVO?

I would add 11 months since the time the file was received by London but keep an eye out for those quarterly updates ... CHC-London's timeline is bound to increase from 11 months.

Currently it seems they are processing the September-October 2012 cases (issuing re-meds, schedule A, re-PCC requests) so if they work at the pace of 1 month per new monthly applications, I suspect applicants from November 2012 may hear in August, December 2012 may hear in September, January 2013 cases may hear in October, so on so forth ... some exceptions apply since a couple of January 2013 applicants have already had re-med, re-PCC, interviews, etc so the first-in, first-out policy is certainly out of the context.

In conclusion, no expected time period ... just qismat ... bas jab qismat mein likha hai ... Wallah ho aalam.

finally my friend got email 5 days ago by LVO,request for re-medical and police certificate ...is this ppr 1 ?

well my case applied in nov 2012,and re-medical done in sep 2013 still waiting for ppr :'(
