if files from Islamabad were transferred to London February 2014, that should be reflected in the CAIP Notes I ordered in March 2014, however the notes say no such thing. Rather the notes state my file is still in Islamabad.

I've order CAIP Notes again to see if anything changed, but as far as I can see not all files were transferred to London (verified through 2 sources : CAIP Notes and CIC call center)

I've also emailed London to verify if my file has indeed been transferred there but have not gotten a reply yet.

If that's the case then I really wonder on what criteria they transferred the files to London, or if they are still in the process of transferring them to London. I'll order my notes as well so I can pinpoint the date it was transferred.

It's been a while since I've been on the forum. I thought I'd take a little break from the action and come back to read a bunch of good news. But instead seems like the situation has gotten worse (in regards to timeline). I just want to mention that I truly believe the MP's don't know jack and have NO influence in regards to the case. (unless they are the immigration minister)

I was really praying for my wife to be in Canada by this summer, but as the days go by I have to come to grips with another ramadan with out her, another anniversary apart, and our birthdays celebrated far away from one another. I'm actually interested in seeing how this whole london saga goes. Maybe it'll be a blessing in disguise or maybe it'll be like the Ottawa case processing centre, just a waste of time...

can any one share that link where the news about ... our files transferred to loondon on 24th feb ... kindly share here proper offical source ... i want to share that news to some one ...

You can check with the call center or order GCMS notes , that's how most of the friends here determined the location on their files. Going forward London would be handling all new Family Class sponsorship applications.

Theoretically, that doesn't make sense since majority of cases were transferred on Feb 24 and to have them all completed by Jan 24-2015 (11 month time frame) seems unrealistic. I really believe these MPs don't know or are not sharing the truth behind the processing of immigration files. Everyone has their own version of what will happen next.

Realistically, London should process the files according date submitted so that they can clear the backlog and lower the "average" processing time. If they clear majority of 2013 cases and let the 2011/2012 cases linger on, they average will still remain high.

I agree. It will be highly illogical to treat all files transferred from ISB to London in the same bracket and I believe that older files would be given priority unless God forbid there is any issue noted bu ISB VO on older files. If they do not follow this even in London VO then CIC will be making a joke of itself.

We can only pray that this transfer step proves to be beneficial for everyone inshallah

Hi, what's your timeline?
husband or wife case?

Been saying this since day one "MP DONT KNOW JACK". Neither do the call center dudes. If you don't believe me call an agent every hour and hear a different story about your file for yourself.
