Asslam u alaikum to all forum members,

Here some questions to all those senior and experienced members who were asked for additional documents & they sent them to embassy.

1 : Which documents you were asked for ?

2 : Did you send photo copies of any document like nikkah nama , birth certificate or educationl degrees etc ?

3 : What is the address to send additional documents ?

4 : Is it better to TCS them or to use any other courier service ?

5 : Do the embassy respond after receiving them ?

6 : After submitting them how long 'll it take to get PPR ?

Kindly help me and guide me in the light of ur experience.
Waiting for ur kind favours.
Thanx in advance.

salam everyone.
i have heard from my in laws that "due to the strike of embassy workers the immigration work was halted, and now workers have said that they will complete all the pending files by coming November "

i heard about the strike they are talking about took place some 6 7 months ago...

HI CONGRATES DID YOU CONTACTED MP OR TOOK ANY STEP OR ITS JUST CIC WHO CONTACTED YOU? WHAT DID YOUR NOTES SAID DID THEY TOLD YOU EXPECTED DATE FOR REMEDICAL? AND IS IT SAME?
I did contact the MP last year 2-3 times, sent voluntary proof in March to Islamabad through my lawyer because I had visited my spouse for 2.5 weeks last year. When I applied for notes in September, the notes only pointed that the medical was expired in July 2013 so was waiting since then, there was no expected date.

could you please tell me your timeline?when did you get re-medical request?anyone who got additional documents request after that how long you got re-medical request??
My timeline is in my profile. As per ecas, they received my application on 17th Aug 2012 and file transfer was 28th September 2012, nothing after that up until yesterday. Yesterday my lawyer called me and forwarded the re-medical letter they got via mail.

Just tell your hubby to take the attached medical form to the clinic. The staff takes care of the rest. Ez Pz!
Was your hubby asked to re-send your police clearance & re-submit forms again?
Thanks hun! As per the form though it does say that he has to get his pictures taken, is that right? Just the re-med for now, hope they don't ask for anything else inshaAllah and straight PPR.

I thought Islamabad office was not even participating in the strikes back then, it was only some of the bigger missions.
I don't even think the full strike lasted that long

Secondly, how do your in-laws know what's going on inside the CHC ?

Yes strike was going on n CHC-ISL was affected.... islamabad wasn't shut down as part of the work stoppage like new delhi london etc but they worked on reduced capacity.... so some ppl still received remedicals n doc requests during that time.... the strike was a total of 6 months long.... from ~ April 2013 to ~Sept 2013

1. The email requesting for additional information will include all the documents u need to submit.

2. Nikah nama, birth certificate, education documents etc ORIGINALS should have been submitted as part of the initial submission. They won't ask for it again unless u didn't include it in the initial submission. The email will tell u exactly wut they need.

3. The email will tell u exactly what address to submit it to. If u go to TCS office n tell them its for CHC they will know exactly where it needs to go.

4. TCS is best way cuz they already have a relationship with CHC-ISB. They are aware of exactly where the documents need to be sent. They will also give u a tracking number n send u text messages when ur package is submitted. So definitely stick to that.

5. There won't b anything from the embassy. The only way to know is from the tracking number u get from TCS. U can send an email requesting whether they received it but they will respond to it 2 months later.

6. U won't get PPR right away. IF they are satisfied with the info u submitted they will then request remedical. Before remedical they may also request u to resubmit PCC (sometimes they send both remedical n rePCC requests together). After remedical there's no set timeline of how long it takes to get PPR. Some on here completed remedical in summer 2013 n still haven't received PPR. Some on this forum received PPR n submitted their passports but haven't received them back (same as my case...its been 2 months now).

Basically, follow the instructions in the email to a tee.... don't include n e thing extra or n e thing less than they require!

If u don't get an email requesting information u don't need to send them n e thing!

According to ur timeline we r in the same boat. My hubby submitted his passport on Dec 17 after his Re-med and may be ur wife submitted hers on Nov 29 or 30 after her Re-med. We both r waiting for pp return now. Let me know when ur wife get back her pp with good news. I'll update u too.
Is there anyone else here in our boat? :'(

In GCMS Notes Security screening and Criminality are 2 different things or same?
