It is recommended to stay 2-3 months in Pakistan with newborn. CIC is very picky about using canadian "healthcare" and spending prolonged periods of time in different countries. I personally know a canadian citizen who had a baby and went to pakistan for a bit over 6 months and CIC gave them a hard time regarding their spousal sponsership file. To be safe 2-3 months is good.
