As I am new Can anyone tell me what are the documents which I have to send as a file to Canadian High Commission in Islamabad after receiving the initial letter from them?

Nikkah Nama attested by foreign office, what else???

You don't have to send anything to CHC-Islamabad, for stage 1 you have to send your file to CIC-Mississagua

GCMS = "Global Case Management System". (Allows you to acess your personal file and see what kind of work has been done by visa officers)

AOR = Acknowledgement of Receipt (Since ottawa came in the picture, many people didn't get AOR)

please confirm me what is GCMS stands for & AOR stands for ?

What is the best time to request GCMS notes ? A year after submitting the file ? If they do give these notes,what kind of info is expected in them ? And how to request them [link please] ?

Best time to request them would probably around 12-14 months of application filed. Basic information is included in them. (what has been completed what has yet to be completed ex: background checks, medicals, thoughts)

Its been 3 months almost since your meds been expired, and you still got no re-med. I remember CHC would atleast send re-med when it expired. (Within a month or two)

Ottawa doing worse than CHC.

But my file hasn't gone to Ottawa at all. Got the approval of dtage one from missi n stating dat its transferred to Isloo. Don't knw y its taking dem so long to send a remed request ???

Even for GCMS notes?? if i wait till July..means i can only know abt my case if i've reached 19monthss since applied !

I had got the same approval and letter stating that my file in ISB. Later to find out, it was ottawa not ISB.

But my file hasn't gone to Ottawa at all. Got the approval of dtage one from missi n stating dat its transferred to Isloo. Don't knw y its taking dem so long to send a remed request ???

Yeah i did read in old posts abt ppl getting to knw abt their files being in Ottawa instead of Missi. I did tell my hubby abt it but he is prettyy sure that our file in Isloo. lol we will enquire in April InshaAllah...and if i get to knw dat my file is in ottawa all this tymm...I'm gonna eat my hubbbyy ears by sayinggg I toldddd yaaa ! 8)

I had got the same approval and letter stating that my file in ISB. Later to find out, it was ottawa not ISB.

Wasn't there a whole debate that if one received an email from Mississauga about file being transferred to ISB, then indeed it was in ISB otherwise if email was from OTT then regardless of them stating file being transferred to ISB, it was still transferred to OTT.

Please clarify.

In AOR they indicate which office to contact if there is a need (email, address and fax) so that is how you can where you file went, no matter what they say in text

That is incorrect, When I got my stage 1 approval, they stated to contact ISB for any furthur questions. When I did, I got a reply my file isn't in ISB. Confused, i went back to cic to find out about Ottawa. AOR said ISB in reality was CPP-O.

Ok, do you know if the new filed application are also going to Ottawa or they send them to Islamabad now ? I going to send mine and don't want it to go to Ottawa
