Did you ask them to send you an email? They never confirmed mine application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
They just confirmed you that have received your application but you application is not approved yet once it is approval the letter will be sent out and then you will get a File Number and UCI if I'm not mistaken. but I have no idea how they work out this... As I said before I never got mine I'm just relying on Canada Post Delivery Status. I also called CIC today and tried to confirm if they received mine or not she asked for my personal information but she was not able to confirm that if CPC Mississauga received or not but she said it should be there they might not opened it yet so I guess I have t wait for couple more weeks ??? ??? ??? ???
