CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

You know chc-Islamabad and Canada immigration are full of horse crap, when it takes them more than 24 months to do a "background check" or "security" check on a 27 year old girl who lived in a small village close to gt road and has a masters degree in biology. Never left the country, never got arrested, never did any illegal activity, has no history of criminal links, has no links to any terror groups or criminal gangs. Yet still asked for three police reports in the past 2 years. Been 7 months are we are still in security checking.

A normal person is "innocent until proven guilty"

If I am not mistaken, there hasn't been any PPRs ever since Nov 2013 when a bunch of PPRs came together in couple of weeks and there were lots of Subhanallah Mashallah Jazakallah all the way through. Can anyone confirm if there have been any more PPRs received from Dec uptil now? I guess Afghan dude was the only one.

Undertaking has got nothing to do with timeline, it is the time period during which you should support your spouse and if he/she go on social m you have to pay for it. And everyone is concern by same undertaking no mater their county of origin or VO.

Well they didn't clearly state anything. But they are currently investigating me. I'm the sponsor and a Canadian by birth.

So I finally received my notes. Confirmed my husband's file is currently in Islambad storage ( collecting many layers of dust).

In Sha Allah they look at it soon and request for a re medical from my husband.

I seem to be under investigation at this time their confirming that I'm not on Welfare which I'm not.

did they wrote something like sponsor was X years older/younger then applicant
sponsor was present at the ceremony
marriage certificate is submitted
cohabitation period etc etc

Hey, my husband applied for TRV on December 9, 2013. We got our documents we submitted for TRV and the sealed passport back in February, just 2 days ago and it had a visa stamped in it. It's a 6 month visa. Also, I'm expecting so I put my doctor's recommendation and gynaecologist recommendation and sent enquiries every now and then.

Thank you! It definitely is the best news ever for me!! The visa is for 6 months and hoping PR will come in that time, because we are already standing at 27th month of processing.

Yes, that is correct. That makes it approx 3 months chc been sitting and drinking tea. Now whats worse no ppr for 3 months? Or chc increasing their timeline to 35 months cuz they wasted 3 mths already and they will simply blame it on the backlog.

Guys I think something is being going on at Islamabad Office. I think something serious must have happened that caused additional delays. Afghan applications are being sent to New Delhi and London. I don't think its due to high number of applications only. It could be something else.

Yea maybe they fought over the last piece of pakora. Injuring over half the staff (lol). No, nothing serious is happening in chc islamabad. They are just slow and don't care. Also canadian government can careless if a few pakistanis are having a hard time to come to canada. If they can justify 32 months (lets see if it goes up in 20days) then human rights is for everyone else but pakistan. Lets be honest guys, there were members here who receive ppr sent in the passport and get it back after 3 months. Which means 90days just to stamp a visa and sent back by a tcs already paid for. Please dont tell me they doing background checks cuz they ain't. Like what that local police officer told me uncle, "chc rarely calls for background checks its all a scam and money factor"

well to be honest we dnt see any reason to delay after medical ! since everyone knows what is background check and half of things they already do before sending medical request so whts the point of making us wait for ppr wht we can do is just keep waiting and checking email after every few mins from 8 am till 5 pm like a fool !

dear its not cuz of strike if it was like tht they wdnt have sent so many medical requests n pprs before november !

many ppl got their GCMS notes majority ppl r stuck in background check for last 6 months !
