CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Almost 2 months since my file transfered to ISB ... who knows how many more months ;'(

I remember in may i emailed CHC (just for fun) and asked them if they recieved my spousal immigration file. Obviously, I got no response from them (they stated they reply in 15days). However, 2 months down the road they did email me and stated "no we didn't recieve your file" LOL. There you go forum gang, the reality of CHC. ;D

sage advice. best to let the days slip by and not count them and before you know it we are halfway there. there wont be any action for quite some time

because the file is in Ottawa. Remember step 2 is being processed in Ottawa.........not

Q for guys whose file got transferred to ISL in Feb/March:

what do you see online on E-cas when you login with "sponsored person" details with F/B number? Do you see anything like "file transfered to CHC-Isl on dd/mm/yyyy"?? When should one expect to see such status online?

I need your help. My wife & son are now with me in Pakistan and we are so happy because we are together and we are enjoying to much. but now i am sad too because they are going back to Canada on 2nd August my application in process and the status showing is...application received to sponsor ABC on 17th January.I have not heard from them at all, nor by email or by mail. Should i be concerned? or should i contact them again by email? is there anything i can do in order to know whether my file has been opened or not?

I am very confused...and feel like I have no power or information on my case.
I really don't want to see my wife leave with my child on august 2nd while leaving me behind.....my child is only 3 months old and I would love to be with him as they both, my wife and child are in great need of me.

what should or CAN I do?
Please help!

Bro, I understand your case is difficult and there are a lot of us in tough situations. The reality is that having your wife raise your child alone is not sufficient grounds for them to speed up your application. I know it's harsh but what can we do? They do process applications quickly in some cases on compassionate grounds (very sick spouse, etc). As you submitted your application earlier this year it is going to take at least until later this year for them to open your file and inshallah by early to mid next year you will get your visa. Just wait it out bro, it's painful but we are all in the same boat and you are not alone. Cheer up!

Hey Guys I got email from Ottawa on July 20, 2012 that I have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor and it also says my file has been transferred to Islamabad.
My question is When CHC Islamabad receives my application will application received date update on ecas?
and How long is gonna take them to receive my application?
