You should be ashamed of what you just wrote. I have your earlier post also and I have noticed how you criticize things that belong to pakistan , whether its driving or education as you were very sarcastic about one guy's education and you wrote all are pakistani degree...there is some serious problem with you.......its all about keeping hope and faith in Allah, things do get delay for some good reason that should increase your faith and love with Allah rather than saying like this. Just be positive we are all on same situation just dont let panic creep in because it wont do anything good. Blog is to share good and constructive information and help each other rather than saying such things. Back off and take a chill pill....

Can some one please guide me regarding the time it will take for CIC to confirm that my documents have reached them as i have dispatched complete documents in the last week of march and i received the confirmation of delivery by courier in the first week of April, 2013. Can some tell me how can i confirm that the documents have reached the right place and what kind of confirmation i will receive and after how long?Thanking in anticipation.regards

they don't confirm receipts of any documents be it miss or isl or Ottawa etc etc... you will know from miss when they approve you as a sponsor (3-4 weeks time of when you sent your package to them)... if you tracked it and the courier says its been delivered, then it has been... wait for 3-4 weeks from the date you sent it...

i believe you have just applied recently, so dont worry too much about caips notes, unless you want to waste money and find out they havent opened your file yet...

caips notes you order under the act to view personal information, you fill out a couple of forums and pay a fee ($60? or more depending on service you take) to get a letter which is coded in immigration ppl's terminology and codes... you pay extra to get it decoded for you... it gives you a snap shot of your file and what has taken place to it so far... so if your file has been under 11 months after transfer date, you will get zero information out of it and lose some money for nothing... these notes are valuable when you see your file not moving as per the ongoing avg times for the processes... for example if they asked you for additional info and after submitting it to them its been 4+ months or so, go ahead and order them to see if they have put you on interview or what they are doing with it...

My case was a wedding & ruhsati case. We had a proper Mehdi, Barat and Reception having 300 guests. Had a very long honey moon with proofs. But as our marriage was purely ARRANGED. I never even talked to her once before wedding. We just had a family meeting in presence of family once before marriage. We just exchanged pictures on email and a simple email telling her my cell number. I want to ask how much this would effect our case. We attached complete documents like bills, pictures, shopping bills, traveling bills, joint bank account etc. But one thing that making me worried that we had no interaction before marriage. Would this be a hindurance or problem?Would this be lead to interview? In ususlly which type of cases, interviews are taken? Nikah only case? In general?

The term Fowrd date is very new to me and your explanation gave me a very clear idea. Thanks for it. Can you please explain a bit more, that if I am asked for a document with 1.5 months foward date, if I proivde them that document in a week, would they start checking my file again in a week or exact of fowrd date?
And if I fail to produce their required document in time, would my file be sent back in que or what?

your marriage procedure is just fine (its a full fledged marriage)... plus dont fret about it being arranged, thats perfectly ok as per our culture, most happen that way, so i hope in your cover letter you explained that just like you did here... what matters is how you commute after the marriage, this is what they want to see (in your case that is, since ur parents arranged it etc)... so prepare lots of skype, phone, chat, email, etc logs... photos, try a visit (best thing to do, and take lots of photos)... all this will help show the visa officer that your case is indeed genuine... dont go throwing money at wall crazy to show proofs, wasting money is not equal to genuineness of relation (for example, if you send her a $10 perfume or a $1000 perfume, the visa officer will see it as a gift)... so again dont worry about not having any proof pre-marriage... get the post marriage proof ready...

they give you a standard 45 days, and its not a be all end all due date (but obv try to get things in sooner than later: in some cases say if you are having a hard time getting a police clearance certificate and think its gona take more than 45 days then fax them stating that as soon as you get it you will send them the package)... the BFD is not of 45 days, its a little more than that in general allowing you time to get it in and then it being placed within your file... and the officer will open your file on the BFD or in the immediate following 2-3 days... for sure not earlier (you will be lucky if they do, but dont count on it)...

another hint, keep a copy of everything, so basically whatever you send in keep a ditto copy if you can, they can lose your stuff and request again, so have it just in case...

again dont dwell on the waiting, it is a long process, and will take on avg 14-16 months, so instead of becoming devdas, try to keep the wife happy, and communicate more with her gathering evidence for your case

Sorry but CAIPS NOTES cost only $5.00 what are you saying they cot $60.00 this is not true. Order them is you or your spouse has a Canadian Address.....
