plus when did u apply exactly, u applied for ur wife or husband?
and how did u find out that ur file is in ottawa and did u get ur medical before u filed ur case or afterwards?

I am sponsoring my husband, I found out that my file is in Ottawa by calling them. My husband did his medical before sending in the application.

so we have to wait for one whole year for sure... uff thats alot. my husband is in canada. i m always scared wt if they refuse in the end.

why r they not showing medical recieved on my e case? when i got my medical done at 24th april. all i see is "file recieved 21 feb.2013"
wt does this mean? if i have gotten my uci no. and file no. does this mean that processing of my file has started or not?

Don't worry much about ecas. It doesn't help you relate to your case. For some people it never changes even after they recieve their visa stamped. Mine, for example hasn't changed for 16 months. Don't go crazy on it, not worth the stress...

I just wanted to update you guys. As you can see I applied in July 2012, the letter my lawyer received said that my file has been transferred to Islamabad in September however upon calling the call centre I found out that it's in Ottawa. I just called the call centre to find out the location of my file so I can send updated proof of contact and my recent visit to Pakistan. The lady informed me that my file is actually in Islamabad and not Ottawa. Upon inquiring further, she told me that my file was transferred to Islamabad in April 2013. Any thoughts?

Same hre. I cld cal cntre isl nd they said that my file hs been trnsfrd in april 23. .i fild my case in july Too. . Nd nw i vl snd add documntz voluntrly in isl. Wtz ur plan

So i sent in my additional documents to Pakistan as requested, and now I will wait again.
Its great to know they are opening new Embassy in Pakistan as it will give access to Canada to so many other people.

Congrats to all who have received contact recently.

My advice to anyone who recently applied is to keep every single document/card/receipt and photocopy everything and keep it in a file, we take for granted that we are sending these items to our spouses but it makes life easier when you want/need to send additional information.

May Allah SWT make it easy on all to go through this process.

it doesnt matter where you send your documents. ottawa scans it and islamabad has access to it. i sent mine to ottawa.

We have a remed appointment coming up and they ask us to bring the address of the visa processing centre so the doctor can forward the results. Anyone know the full proper address for Islamabad visa office? JazakAllah Kharin!

Have you heard anything yet brother ? any change in address or status ?

Status = Decision made. Mailing address = Pakistan. Permanent address = now showing as Canada.

My situation is same. They requested additional docs, forms and Re-PCC and we mailed the package last month.

Since then nothing else.

anybody that sent in additional documents (after being requested for them from mid april to early may) has anyone heard anything further, or any update?

i have noticed that after ppr they are on avg taking 3 months time...

also if someone would like to explain the mailing in the passport bit... you send it with a cover letter with advance payment of return shipping or is that collected when the passport is returned...

also if the spouse is only bringing back clothes and regular articles, do they still have to do any additional forms or can do without it...

Salam all forum members,

Because someone contacted TCS they have changed all the tracking numbers so I'm sorry to say I cannot post the Tracking Numbers from TCS. As this is not Public Knowledge. Its the same as I finding your bank account and posting it to the world with your pin number.

Just pray that I or someone else can find a way to search them again.

Also if someone receives a letter or parcel could you be kind enough to send me the tracking number I will not and I promise I will never divulge your name or where you live to anyone you have my word on this important matter. You can inbox me ok please. I pray Allah helps us all out of this mess In Sha Allah
