Passport request on 16th may but still no reply can any share the same experience?How much further time should i wait?please reply any one?

Just spoke to my MP's office. They did an inquiry and were told that some files were processed by mistake according to the Ottawa timeline, my file however is getting processed according to the ISB timeline and will not be opened until Feb 2014..... I am a Feb 2012 applicant....

Bro, that's rough! I don't understand how that makes sense. I have a feeling the MP is just making excuses. They probably have enough people coming in regarding immigration issues that they feel it's appropriate to put it on the "official timelines" stated on the websites.

don't believe it. Everyone who previously successfully sponsored a spouse said they asked their MP and the MP's said 'yes wait 28 months' and they received their visa a few days after the MP said that.

I strongly believe it's a standard reply , the MP's are probably to busy to do an individual inquiry for everyone,

so just keep hoping

Don't believe MP's. They know how to talk BS, after all, he/she is a political person...

I dont blame the MP for such response(s), I would be sick and tired of people coming to my office for their immigration status updates as well. I mean bigger fish to fry being an MP then just pinging for status updates.

Hazrat Umar RA once disciplined a merchant who was carrying a heavy load on his Camel, he was afraid that on the day of reckoning he would be asked about the injustice on this animal.. This is how a leader should be, they have been elected to provide us tax paying citizens with justice and to fight for our rights...

You may not blame this MP, but I blame him alot =)

Yes , good one.....but the problem is the diplomatic relation between Canada and Pakistan , MPs... BS about there are so many applications for immigration flooding into CHC Islamabad, what do u guys think embassy in New Delhi wont be getting applications for immigration.....but their process is 11 months i guess....but Canadian federal minister knows they cant mess with india because of strong economic ties with them....its a curse to be a Pakistani....thanks to our so called muslim brothers in middle east.....they used us and the whole West has F*** us....
