salam guys, I hope everyone here is in good health !! I got my AOR on 5th February, after that I have checked ecase couple of times and its showing Medical received, so I want to know should I contact cic regarding my file as where it is ? and what does MP means? people here are saying this word and I cant understand it.

I suggest you don't bother taking any actions yet. Since your file is so fresh and you newly applied.. so give it a couple more months, I mean even if you email CHC they won't respond you. I used to email them through specific enquiry more often for a couple months they replied me after 15 days or so but now they kindda got sick of me.. lol they don't reply me anymore. The only thing you can do now is to call the call center @ 1 888 242 2100

My little advise to you from what I have experienced. Try not to think about it for at least a year and don't expect anything..

I had got this email from Islamabad in june of 2012. Then I found out about this Ottawa scam. Something doesn't seem right. Nobody wants our file....

Just Got email reply from chc-Islamabad After two months wait.

chc-islamabad new Drama Shocking replay says-

In reply to your mail please be informed that we have not yet received the application from CCPO (Case Processing Pilot Office) and you may contact them directly at CPR-OttPilot-Caseprocessing @ cic.gc.ca.

I think its collecting dust ..they said the same abt my file in ard jan i believe. And i got approved in nov

emailed CHC thrice starting oct12 but no reply from them, atleast pata tu chal jaayeh file kedar hai

Reading all of this, I don't want to call, email or do anything. This is so discouraging, but I guess I should order notes too...

but i was wondering practically

Also, do we need to submit a medical when sponsoring or do i have to wait for them to request it?

Lets put it this way they open our file for initial review after 13 months but sometimes ppl get lucky.. and abt 2 ppl got processed in less than 12 months. and yes u have to send the medical with the initial application

but if they'll get it after 12 months, the medical would be expired and i'd have to ask my husband to do it again than?

no they will ask for re-medical which means ur closer to PPR .. sometimes if the file is finished early then obviously its not required. but the bottom line is send ur medical with ur initial application to missisauga!
