example if ur were involved in a car accident and were injured seriously or diagnosed with cancer and u needed amily support and u send chc doctors letter stating that u need somone close to u to be with u totake care of u

chc will have the applicant issue a visa ASAP

but if its the sponsors parents no chance

i am just glad i am in the same class (time frame) with guys like heybuddy and theshaikh (and khalifah, although he is a year senior to us and almost done) it will be fun times ahead dostoo... i am just busy these days more towards scouting a house for your bhabhi... at my age (25-30) its not easy being self made and buying all things on your own... budget is so tight, but the house prices are so inflated, just digging hard to find that diamond in the rough... lets see how things unfold

You see, if a certain action does not merit political points, they are not worth doing.
If the mayors own son married someone in Pakistan, i can gaurantee that the spouse would be in Canada by the end of the month.

Pakistani attitude is -
"sit at home, eat paratha, maybe some gulab jaman, some gol gappay, and wait...." according to my immigration lawyer lolz

And its true, I see this attitude of acceptance prevalent amongst all Pakistani immigrants, we collectively have a low self esteem/confidence problem.. On some bizarre subconscious level, we think that we deserve this discrimination...

most companies are eliminating full time positions and just hiring part time to cost cutting measures

yar i am well aware of the market and its situation... i know the prices will crash some time soon... and it will all be due to the interest rates... however, and keeping that in mind, i am out there looking for an investment based property, which i will rent out till the wife gets here, and then if feasible, stay in it, or sell it... that way some equity is created and the money just doesn't rot in the bank... i have set a budget which makes sense and is realistic to my situation... not like people who cannot afford a house worth 300K but look and aspire to buy a 500K house...

i got an email from cic-ott saying u r aproved for sponoring on may 31st, and that ur file has been forwarded to chc-isl...

so i am curious... today is the 16th... file should be there or really close to it... how will i know it is there with them in line for processing...

so far i have my file # that starts with F and uci #... will they also provide with a B# for applicant, or is that F# good enough... and how will i know file is with them...

just want to clear that part out... thankyou...

I got approval letter on Apr 20, 2012 and I am only able to check status online with UCI# as "Decision made and file has been transferred to ISL" but when I try to check with File/Application# F*** I get following

thanks khialafah, i just noticed they did an update for the processing times... and Isl is still at 26 mnths strong... errrrr... i thought and hoped it would go a wee bit down like 25 or 24... atleast as a false hope, but i suppose it not increasing any further from 26 is a miracle on its own...

it feel as if it 16 months looking at the trend of 2011 cases

real update will be january 2013 when the whole year is counted
