They said why did you make marriage certificate 2 years after your claimed wedding date. In Afghanistan we don't register marriage, Nika is done verbally by Imam. We got married in 2010, and I was not planning to apply for her sponsorship as I was student in college here. In mid 2012 I finished college. at the end of 2012 I got full time job. I stared searching for info and I saw on CIC web that I have to have marriage certificate. That was the time I had to apply for one, so I got it in Nov 2012, they might have failed to read the certificate properly. The marriage date on Cert is Aug 2010 and the issues date is Nov 2012, In our application we put same date of wedding as the certificate has it Aug 2010.
I sent them a letter from the Imam who did our nika, sent letters form few guests confirming our wedding, some guests came from UK, some from Canada, plus printed 15 pages report from Refuge Board of Canada that says Afghans are not obligated to register their marriage many people don't have marriage cert.
I re sent our wedding photos which we took together, my last visit photos, flight tickets, skype, chat, emails for all these years. I prepared affidavit by lawyer, and my wife also did her by lawyer there. As I said we are married for more than 4 years and we have communication on daily basis and still they ignoring all of these crystal clear evidence, I have a full time job in my field of study, I am not on welfare I don't know why they still have concerns. I was so confidence as I knew myself and my application was well prepared and answered all questions well and provided everything they asked for. Also send many voluntary proof of ongoing relationship during these 2 years.
