We received ***** application for permanent residence on January 14, 2014.

We started processing application on November 26, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on ***** application. The office will contact ****** concerning this decision.

THEY HAVE UPDATED MY STATUS ON CIC WEBSITE BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY EMAIL FROM THERE TILL NOW....IS THIS NORMAL ..ANYONE ELSE GOING THROUGH THE SAME PROB?IT HAS BEEN ABOUT A WEEK THEY MADE A DECISION AND NO EMAIL FOR PASSPORT REQUEST YET

That's completely normal . In my case after remedical of 3rd day my status changed to decision made and after 3 weeks got email for pp. so don't worry and good luck .

what about your medical and when you did your medical..? If Upfront then on which date?

once u do re-med do they change the status online? like add a comment that we have received your re-meds

If your eCAS did not mention anything about meds initially, then yes it should change and inform you about new meds being received. However, my eCAS always showed meds received from the time we filed the application. This is how mine looked:

My eCAS always showed:
1. app received
2. meds recieved.

Then it went to IP (and remeds were required) and they changed the sequence to:
1. app received
2. we started processing on certain date
3. meds received

even though at that time, I had not submitted new meds and previous meds had already expired.

Does Islamabad Visa Office call/email the applicants right after dispatching passport?

No they don't do that.

You were requested to do a a remedical by the visa office? what is the status of your eCas? Do you mind sharing your timeline?

Isn't FedEx n Gerry's the same? If that's so,yes, they notify when the passport is dispatched from isb embassy.

Applied on May 3rd,2014.
received Medical. nothing since then.
hi Guys, i am new to this forum, just been reading different stuff since last night, it seems like some people got their passports stamped within a lot less time than even expected, some got their passports with visa within a year but some been waiting for over 2 years. can the ones who got their visa's quicker share their experience and what exactly they did. it might help a lot of us.

My husband did his re-medical on the 13th of november and he received e-mail on the 1st December
