good idea ;D i am at work and it is tafreeh time. i am really happy for jerry84. in excitement I went to check my ecas and got slapped in the face

I'm happy for you ;D but sad for myself I applied before you and yet no update on medicals. I like samosa's but there is nothing like a warm bowl of kheer! Congrats. Yea- we should all get together when all our spouses are here.

I know Jerry I have an exam on monday and im just sitting here. husband sleeping on skype. I got work from 5pm to 10 pm and then exam on monday. Im reading our old fb msgs, man I got no life :S

yaaar I hated my rukhsati and reception make up. I dont wear make up at all, like never. I thought if shadi wale din u wear it, u look different and bla bla bla but idk i didnt like it. I feel jo loog tareef kar rahe the they were all lying :S

My dear husband hates to come on skype lol. He's too busy with work and even right now .. out somehwere doing something! I haaaaaaaated my makeup omg it was sooooo bad! I am going to have another reception here so I am praying I look better in this one lol. My mood was amazing though

Suchii? I dont let him go outside late since Karachi ke halaat are bad. Usually after work hes home the whole time .. Awww .. yahan reception karna isnt easy tho ehh too many things to take care of. My mood was great as well my mom was like hansna banda karo .. ankhain neeche karo and my cousins were like its okay abb shadiyan aise hi hoti hain jis mai dulhan khush ho lol

My husband recently got a new job masha'Allah and its been almost more than a week we havent talked on skype coz of time difference!!! Ughhh i hate it all!

I just wished he listened to me! Lol he doesn't care. I just pray and make a hisaar of Ayatulkursi for him. Situation in KHI is bad, but look at what happened in Connecticut today .. who would have thought?

I don't think so it'll matter tbh. InshaAllah it'll be alright regardless of the quality of pictures. Just get another shoot done here once your spouse is here =D

Nikah marriages are still accepted but you have to provide a lot of proof of contact over the phone and gifts etc. It also means you might get an objection letter from CHC and an interview queue which usually means a year or more of wait just to get a date for the interview. It is recommended to do a full rukhsati and send pictures and boarding passes receipts of the event and whatever else you can manage prior to your file's initial review to avoid the long waits of interview queues.

it was a small wedding type of nikkah i flew there and we had a little function of about 80 people and took alot of family pics because we knew we needed them for immigration.. also when i applied i attached our ways of contact between each other including phone bills, email, also my flight ticket and the money i sent back every month etc. hopefully no objection/interview

Also my other question is when do they ask for more proofs? i got my approval letter on Sep 23, 2012 because i am planning on going back before and do a big wedding and have a lot of proofs available when they ask me to provide them. thanks guys

we try our best to talk through skype. you know that question in sponsorship questionnaire about how you guys stay in contact? I wrote so much that ended up using extra sheet** lol .. for me mashAllah hum ek dosre ko pal pal ki khabar detay hain thank God for skype and whatsapp.

They don't necessarily ask for proofs, but if they do it will probably be before your remed expires. They send a letter to the applicant unless you have a representative, I think!
