They have no right to deny you immigration be it your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th marriage ... I hope you will appeal right away and retain all the documents/correspondence with CIC as proof. I also suggest you add and collect more documents and proof of ongoing relationship.

If you are nikkah only, search using keywords like nikah, or as you mentioned yours is a second marriage, use search words like second marriage etc. to narrow your search results for cases similar to yours.
