I just checked my application (set of pages sent to cic) and i found out that me too did not send the URDU nikkah nama but i have sent Marriage registration certificate which has been issued by union council and has urdu and english both languages on same page. What do you think should i be ready with english translated attested nikkah nama along urdu one?

yup you know be ready for that if you receive something like that so can quickly send it to LVO it will save your time.

Yaar, I sent CIC my original urdu nikkanama (with certified english translation) along with NADRA marriage certificate and to-date the haven't asked me anything ... if they open my file, that is

But to answer your question, yes, it is better to keep the original urdu nikkah nama with certified english translation along with your marriage certificate handy in case they ask you with Re-PCC and Re-med.

I have one question comes every time in my mind. Can i send add doc or any other doc to CIC London Directly from Canada instead from Pakistan? I mean instead my wife she will send from Pakistan can i send on her behalf with file # and UCI # on envelope with her name?

I have same question for myself. I was going to ask if I can visit additional docs.. Such as my visit to Pakistan this year etc..

shakeel its a difficult question because if LVO is sending email specially to the applicant then i think they would expect incoming correspondence from applicant not sponsor but its a good question may be any senior member could reply it better

I have sent every thing from Canada, takes couple of days from Purolator, on the letter i have added a line that being a sponsor i feel obligated to send ever thing myself.

Very good questions, my friends. I can speak from experience as the sponsor sending additional documents from Canada:

I have sent Islamabad and then London numerous emails with additional documents such as ruksati/valima/ post marriage pics, along with emails, viber/skype/whatsapp plus my boarding passes/bag tags/e-tickets, gift receipts etc etc etc .... and they have added it to our file ... GCMS notes confirms this.

SO yes, as a sponsor from Canada, you can send additional documents ONLY IF you attach the IMM 5476 (Use of a Representative Form - must be signed by both sponsor and principal applicant) everytime you email ... I have a scanned signed copy of this form and I use this everytime I ask CIC status of my file, and whenever I send additional documents.

Now, if you are the principal applicant, you don't need the IMM5476 form because you are the primary applicant all you need to do is mail or email add. documents to CIC ... just be sure to indicate your identifying credentials such as full name, date of birth, country of birth, file number, and UCI.

Yes, on behalf of my wife, who received the request in Pakistan. I hired a Lawyer to reply to that threatening email that some people have received recently...and the lawyer added the line towards the end.

I think one can send add doc from anywhere but should be clearly mention Name file# of applicant. The sender,s address does,t matter. This is my opinion. Any reply will be helpful and appreciated. Thanks
