Once I am approved as a sponsor for my husband (who is in Pakistan). I am hoping to either take leave from my job if my bosses permit it, or worst case, quit my job to be with him in Pakistan, as 3 years apart is awfully long to bear. I'm curious if anyone else has done the same? Second, would I need to report quitting my job to the CIC after I have already been approved as a sponsor? If so, has anyone experienced any negative effects on their application due to this type of scenario?

No need to inform anyone, you have been approved already. There is no minimum income restriction for spousal sponsorship so off you go and enjoy.

PPR 2 we submitted passport today. our medical will expire at the begining of september. should i book the flight now or wait for passport to come back?

Allhimdulilah . You only have to fill applicant column. If you dont have childrn and your spouse not travelling with you.
Second you have to snd only new one

Be ready to fly. Yes book your ticket . And done with your making. They will not give youmuch time. And now a days seats are hardly available for direct flight sp book it as soon as possible

I would assume they would KNOW but you know how VOs can be.. lol, once they open his file theyll see my name I'm the sponsor right? so should i worry omg im going crazy

Or you can email and tell them that you gave also provoded spouses infprmation and spouse is actually acsponsor and us in Canada.

quick question ; did you use TCS courier to send passport?
how long did it take to recieve it back. was there any issues using this courier

TCS is good . I used TCS. Mine took 16 days. As my passport is valid till 2016 and medical till Feb 2015.

Its not about who gets PPR first.. i really dont get it why you are trying to make groups and separate people on the basis of year applied. Everyone is happy for the other person and its pretty natural that a person gets upset if he/she doesnt get any response from embassy on fair basis as u have posted as well..

Please dont create fuss here and keep ur evil thoughts to yourself instead of dragging other 2013 applicants in this argument as well..

Its been happened more than one time that only specific members of 2012 made fun . What do you think is it normal? How you will react when someone make your fun or criticize you full of negativity if you did mistake by mistake in your post. Instead to correct it and encourage do you have to make fun? its simple very simple if you do not like something just pass and keep your fingers in control. NO some of those want to enjoy and when they get answer then starts to impose ''FETWA'' . C mon and there is no grouping here My Friend. But you have to reply on unusual.

All of us are in problems and we need each other's help. But if you can not or do not want to do then you have no right to speak bullshit or anything below the line of Respect.
