Whoever had their file sent to Ottawa, have you heard any news from them? It seems like Ottawa is dead quite nowadays Can't believe Islamabad is even faster than them for the 2012 cases.

My timeline is as follow

Application filed: 5th October'12
Confirmation E-mail: 31st October'12.
Letter of Application approval: 3rd November.
E-cas: Under PR status application its 'Application received and Medical Application has been received"
Under Sponsorship Application Status its "In Process"

You r quite lucky u know...ur application is in process! Check out my timeline...yet my ecas shows application recieved only..doesnt even show dat med is receieved.. : your case is going on goood speeed sis!

Ohh okayy...my sponser app status shows decision made...dats end of step 1..my husband got the AOR n letter stating file is transffered to Isl..but my PR shows application receieved but no mention of med...i think they have just not updated ur ecas after the approval application...

Oh masha'Allah your first step is complete I guess. My sponsorship application status is 'in process' yet. And that letter which my husband received stated that my file has been transferred to Islamabad and that processing has been started. Wish you all the best!!

Thanks but u know i have a very strong feeling dat ur 1step is complete as well ! Coz i read on cic site dat once they approve the sponser (sponser app status shows decision made) then only they issue te letter of transffering the file to Isloo..so i just think those lazy bums didnt update ur ecas! so sweetie! Wish u all the best aswell !! InshaAllah we'll goood news soon enough!

I just read on this forum that after your file has been transferred, we should continue sending them proofs and evidences and keep on checking after every 3 months by emailing them.. Is it correct or should we just wait till further changes?

Could any body help to share his/her file no format mentioned in AOR which they received in 2011 or 2012? my spouse received AOR which file no is mentioned in below format XG********* which e-case do not show the status?

I hve read the quite opposite...n cic says too not to voluntary give any proof or contact them mch coz it will affect the process timing for their file :-X
