Does any one know about direct flight to Canada from Pakistan ,I know Pia goes direct to Toronto from karachi. Is there any other airport where pakistani can land straight from pakistan.

Not only Karachi rather PIA has scheduled flights from Lahore and Islamabad to Toronto Pearson International Airport as well. But people get connecting flights from Pearson for their final destination.

Applying for TRV for my husband do I need to show a strong bank statement or not?

I have done this for my wife. They refused. To my understanding your bank statement has to be strong (Possibly a joint account is prefered). Any property your husband holds. His job, and any other ties that may help prove that he will be returning back. mostly it is about HIM not you, so he need to present his side very strong. Hope it helps !!!!

I have a question.. n its related to FSW category ..
If one applies in FSW category, does he need to give police clearance certificate from all countries where he has lived for more than 6 months ? What if the person ws in USA for 1.5 yrs on visit visa which was obviously extended ! Coz its not possible to provide police certificate from USA as the visit visa has expired and one can't get visit visa easily these days !
and this was around 9 years back ! Recently since past 9 yrs the person has been staying in pak at one address (no changes at all)

If anyone has info regarding this pls guide me .. thanks.

Mention that in the application form ,if your send it already don't do anything until they ask for it.

Your Notice of assessment and pay stubs are more important then your bank statement, attach that and prof of residence that you have a place where he can stay, and his financial details and ties to his country is the most imp. hope that help. ;D

I applied in August 2013 and at the end of the month they replied me back that ur file is been transferring to Islamabad and 2 weeks ago I email at London visa office to find out about my file and they reply me back that we received ur application and it's in the queue.

No claiming child benifits doest interfere with spousal sponsorship. I am also receiving universal child care benefit n canada child care benifits since last year. Even subsidy for a day care also doest effect on sponsorship i heard it
