How long does it take to get our GCMS notes? In the automated email sent to me after I applied it said 30 calendar days. Is it usually faster?

Dear Laghmani:

you have to go to the ministry of interior first and take your TAZKERA as well. You will fill in a form, then they will ask you to come back another day. when you come back the day that they told you to, they will give you some information which then you have to take it to the ministry of foreign affairs where they will give you a reference number. After couple days or weeks you would give this reference number here in embassy of Afghanistan (or the consulate) and they will issue you a police clearance. that is how we did it and we send it along with the application forms. I hope it is clear for you.
Have you done this the first time when you sent your application forms, or is this a second request for police clearance?

I've been away from my spouse for 6 months now. I'm planning on going back soon to visit him. Only Allah swt knows how much longer this process will take

Also did your case begin as a nikkah case and then did the rukhsati later on?

dear kat.kab I have been away from my spouse 2 years and 3 months now, during this period we only rec'd re-med request on sept 17

As u know it has been 26 months n i hv been totally frustrated so if one any ask me "SABR Karo..." thn i cudnt find out how to do more Sabr...

Hey Sundus!

I have a lawyer too and I asked him if I should apply for GCMS notes, as expected he said I advise not to but if you want to do it yourself, you can do it. So I don't think that not having a representative had anything to do with your denial of GCMS notes, do you think you made any error? I am ordering mine today so I'll let you know when I receive them insha Allah. I also read it online somewhere that even if you have a lawyer, you can order your notes yourself. Good luck!

Hmmm..... well our lawyer told that i wont advice u n dont com to me if ur GCMS create any problemm(ALLAH na kary)... Yeah i might made some mistake.... my case will complete 24 months in this month after file being tansferred to Isb so i'll order GCMS agian.... n hope That ALLAH will solve my Visa problem before completion of this 24th month...n i wont need to order tht again... InshaALLAH Aamennn...
