Hey Guys,

I'm trying to get my wife's medical done but somehow we don't seem to connect through to IOM. When i call from Canada, the line is engaged. And when my wife dials it locally, it doesn't go through. Could someone please advice how you can contact them, or if there is any other number.

Also, could someone explain what the procedure is to get the medical done for spouse immigration. She can just take the filled forms to the IOM clinic and get her tests done? OR Do we need to make an appointment first? And if its done by appointment, after how long does your appointment come up? any idea?

However, I seem to be stuck in a weird spot where I'm running out of time. I would really appreciate it if someone could guide me through on this. Thanks

not sure which IOM office you're looking for buth that link will show you all IOM offices in Pakistan. And yes I am sure you have to print and fill out that form and present it to medical office

if you cannot get through via phone, e-mail them. You will get a quicker response that way. Yes you have to make an appointment to enter. MHDISLAMABAD@iom.int

Congratulations, please specify if yours was a husband or wife case. Also, are you counting 18 months from the application file date or the file transfer date?

If ur asked for PPR with RE PCC does it take long for pp to come bk with visa
is that when they start doing background check afyer ur RE PCC ?

The usual way is to get the background checks out of the way first and then request the passport. But when re-med is clubbed with ppr then it takes longer because they work on the background checks as well. And no I don't think they start bg checks after re-ppcc. They might just be asking for it since it must have expired or something.
