completely silence in my case from eight months what the hell this processing time

i know it's too frustrating. But i take it as a big aazmaish and a sadqa of our relationship. You'll be together with your spouse soon, Inshallah. Just pray a lot, and submit to the will of the Almighty.

i sent my passport 14 weeks ago...and still waiting for passport return
should i contact mp.can he help in this matter.atleast i want to know what process is going on.

Alhamdolillah, i and my husband were agreed on one point since the beginning, jo bhi larai ho gi woh bedroom ma ho g or wahan he khatam ho jaey g. Kisi third party ko hum na apnay matters ma kabhi involve ni kia. I am telling you this because husband and wife relationship is the most hated relationship for Satan. Or shetaan sirf aik jin ni ha, woh un sb logo ki soorat ma mojood ha jo humaray dilon ma wasawasay daltay han. Don't let the Satan win. Sit together, put your ego aside, and make a great new beginning. I'll be praying for you.

Lonely is absolutely right ! don't let satan ruin ur relationship , give her confidence, trust her and love her, she needs it badly at the moment. inshaAllah she'll love you even more! believe me , i'll pray for u too ... Have faith .. just pray and every thing will be solved ammazingly including this immigration process

This applies to Canadian citizens as well. I lost my case in 2006 ,when the processing times were only six months on similar grounds ,that my Canadian spouse was living in Pakistan with me and the Immigration Officer asked me in the interview to satisfy him that my sponsor shall reside in Canada ,once i become a permanent residence. (He needed a proof of hiring a
flat ,or admission in Canada ,or a future job offer from Canada from my spouse).
Latter we filed an appeal with the Immigration Appeal Division Toronto and also hired a flat and after two years in 2008 got a letter from IAD-Toronto that the case has been abandoned as you failed to arrange calling cards for hearing of the case through conference call. We never received that letter from IAD in which they had asked for arranging the calling cards.

We have again applied in 2011 and am praying to Allah to forgive our sins and make us sucessful this time in getting the PR status.

Inshallah it will work out this time..

Sisters u both are 100% right meri b same situation hai aur ab is long processing time ki waja se itni fights logon ki waja se hamare darmiyan hogai hain k now we are thinking about divorce.problem hai meri family problem hai us ki family aur problem hain marey relative aur Neighbours jin ki roz roz ki baten sun sun kr yeh time a gya hai aur baten tumhari wife tmhe bhol tu nai gai? tumhari wife ne abi tk tmhe bulaya kyun nahi? agr bulana hota tu itna time nai lagta sameena khala k betey ne shadi ki uk mai tu wo 2months mai uk mai chala b gya oh God tang aagya hon guys najaney kia ho gya hai jaisey aur haan yeh jo abroad mai hotey hain na in k liye relations koi value nahi raktey blah blah.so guys i dont know what to do now & u know what Alhamdulilah we have a 5moths baby boy bus us ki waaja se sub sun laita hon aur fights khatam kr k wife se compromise kr laita hon.

don't even think about the divorce part as ppl already want tht. zayada loog batein isi liye karte hain jab wo dekhte hian k yeh loog kush hain. hv trust on each other. husbnd wifek o aik dosre ko par trust krna parta hai . MashAllah u already have a family nd don't give a chance to ppl to talk more about ur relationship. honestly hamare sth b aisa ho chuka hai mere husband ne muje pehle hi bata diya tha k agr koi bat ho to sir mujse kehna u know y q k log yehi kehte hain k kis ne kaha tha "Canadian Larki" se shadi karo ab deekha liya anjam. ap trust karo aur phir jab INSHALLAh aap k visa aa jae to ap sath hoon ge to who care's about them. it's our life nd we are the one suffering not them.

This forums seems another family to me coz here we share our thoughts nd feelings . All of us are going thorugh the same situation. we comfort eachother in difficult sitution nd pray for each other too. we are not jealous if one gets over with this immigration process. offcurse, we need our partners support nd love to ease thorough the process.INSHALLAH this process will be over soon for all of us nd be united with our partners soon.

Hi,

Just wanted to add, it was my first hand experience that custom officer asked me about pics of valuables / good to follow, especially, jewellery and I had luckily ones with me. I had to provide them the estimate of the valuables, along-with off-course list of the items, as well. They finally gave me a custom paper listing / summarising (don't exactly recall the particulars) that mentioned exemption of those items from custom duty. I understand that there is some time limit (probably, one year) for bringing those stuff to Canada. Other friends can help you further, as others may have had different experience.

ppl i know did not have to show pictures of anything...they just ask on airport what u have and if theres anything else that will be shipped later on.... thats my expereince for about 4 5 families who moved Canada recently
