One more question ,which has worth to be asked here that is "Do they always require Updated police certificate in order to conclude the case???????

pcc expires after 12 months... so if you think (educated guess) that by the time they touch your file, it will expire before or after it while they will be processing and it will expire... then you are better off to re-do it and send it in... timing is the key here... make sure u send it before they ask you for it ... that way when they touch ur file ur re-pcc is already there...

i sent my passport 14 weeks ago...and still waiting for passport return
should i contact mp.can he help in this matter.atleast i want to know what process is going on.

Assalam-o-Alaikum bro, i'm not an expert but i think MP can make an enquiry on your behalf and he or she'll be coveyed the reason of delay like whether medicals are awaited. I pray that Allah make things easier for you and your wife get the visa very soon. Jazak Allah.

It probably means your file is in Ottawa, and its in process. (Though how long is the process not sure).

did ottawa reply to anyone else sayin that application is in process???? i dont understand if they really started processing it or not because when i check my status online it says Application Recieved. Did ottawa say to anyone that application is in Initial review or in queue etc????

Isnt pcc valid for only 6 months? Correct me if i am wrong....
Not everyone is receiving re pcc request.. My husband didnt get it with othe documents request
And i guess after remedical one shouldnt send pcc voluntarily

Please wait they will reply you, i got reply after 3 months, so if you continuously send email they will keep you in block list they wont receive any your further email.

what i have observed on this forum, mostly all request are made before medical or with Medical. If your medical is done then there is 99% chance that you will get passport request now. Don't worry. As far as sending Police certificate is concerned then i would suggest not to send anything voluntarily at this stage. You will InshAllah get passport request. Jazak Allah.

One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

My husband case was not in que for interview because it was security interview I think that does not need que they just call you for it....My husband said it was the most hardest interview ever...He was asked many many political questions, views on war questions, case specific questions, marriage related questions, mostly security related though....They watch every single answer you give, your reaction, your response, your facial expressions, your answers and they write every single thing you answer.
