I paid the full fee in advance when I first filed. This is something someone suggested I do. My wife got her remedical and passport request in the same letter. I sent some additional photos, skype chat etc in May, so this time, they didnt ask for additional information.

My nikah nama was in English. I did not get any of the documents translated by a notary public, just translated them myself.

The family pictures were quite extensive, with 10-20 members of my family in each picture, and different people in each picture. I was photographed with 100+ people in my family.

I also gave details of who each person is, and how they are related to me.

Not sure if any of these strategies worked, but it looks good.

i get it done on friday iom islamabad and still they did not give me any tracking no.
and after medical is there any thing send back or inform to CHc-i

i got it done on monday 16 july,, and no nothing that we have to send and they ll update it themselves... and IOM is quite efficient.. dont worry they ll send it.. and it would take around 20 days to a month to update on our ecase..

Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah...my husband got his passport back with visa stamped today. He just received the parcel from TCS.

It was a husband case. I sponsored my husband in Jan 2011, the timeline is as follows:

Application filled: Jan 2011
File reached ISB: Feb 2011
Re-Pcc and supplementary forms: March 2012
Re-medical: June 6 2012
Passport request: July 9 2012
Sent Passport on July 12 2012
Received Passport back on July 20 2012 (exactly after one week from passport sent date)

Hi ..


I need your help please ... My husband has recieved a re-medical letter is medical is expiring on aug 2nd and they also wrote in letter that If We returned your passport for you to undergo medical examination , you must return the passport to the visa office without any delay.


Now my question is ... does this apply to my husband too? they did not have his passport but does he has to send it to visa office?? and if not then can someone tell me how much time its taking after the re-medical for them to issue the visa ???
