afg is not bad but it they kno that ur comin from Canada they will actualli kidnap or do shit sometimes
but ma hubby is afg lives in Karachi for last 19 years n its safe to go n come anytime....
I went by ma self in september n came back in november .......
the only thing is that i felt bad for ma husband n other poor people living their it effects u realli bad n
i see in afg news poor bachara people that makes me sad honestly

but good luck n if u ur cases is pretty new then wait a while n for wen its about a year past ur case transfer
thats a better way

I know I was planning to go in March but by work wont alllow me to go for a month they just want want me to go for 2 weeks which is stupid or i will lose my job cuz i went 2 times in one year for 2 months they wont let me do that anymore .. There were times I just wanted to quit by job and leave to stay with my hubby until his case is done , my parents dont want me to do that. Now iam stuck if i should go or not just wait a few more months to see what going on with my hubby casee Inshallah soon i hear good news !!!

I don’t think that it will go to 18 months. Remember we haven’t seen much activity by high commission.

Kho ma fakir namekadum ki dukhtar ham diwana misha. girls have more patience lol.
And going back home you shouldn't have any problems your case wise or staying there. I went last year for the first time I was fine we just have fair once your there it's different then what madia show. Good luck

I heard they have started working on Oct. and Nov. 2010 cases my friend's case was received chc Islamabad Oct 2010 and now in process so you should hear something soon and pray for us

acknowledgement with file# and uci received on Jan 21,2012
approval takes 68 days, so this is not approval ? Please advise , would there be another e-mail for approval.

If your wife got an email that your sponsorship is approved and your case is transferred to Islamabad then its sponsorship approval. You will not get any letter from Canadian High commission Islamabad till 12-15 months from your case transfer date.

I applied over 8 months ago to sponcor my wife, and the application reached Islamabad in July. I understand that Islamabad will not even touch my application before August or September.

I am thinking of going to spend a few weeks with my wife, take some pictures of our outings, and sending it to the high commission with the file number.

The question I have to everyone is if someone has ever sent additional information to the high commission, and if you have done so, did you receive an aknowledgement, or just silence?

CIC updates the timeline on their website quarterly and next due date is 27th Jan so we are expecting new timeline to be update on CIC website anytime after 27th

they dont send u any acknowledgement just a silence, but if u send them status inquiry email then mostly they let u know that they have received further documents from u
