who just received their passports back with visas
did u ppl find two columns in your ecas'?
One is current home address and other is current mailing address?
I can just see my current mailing address on my ecas that is my paki address
but i have heard that people can see another column of current home address (i.e canadian address)
after getting DM..is it true?

If u got a ppr by grace of Allah
it means ur visa is ready for issue
dnt bring anyother thought in ur mind
ur pp ll come soon inshallah ...
dnt b bother with ecas or anything else

Actually it's been 11 days since i got DM..
n didn't get my pp back yet..
pata nahi CHC-I ne meray se kia dushmani nikali hai

Yes it's true... I have 2 addresses both Canadian because mailing address is different from home address. My hubby's Pakistani address is not posted on ecas.

what do u mean by yesterday evening? did u receive it through tcs?
n when ur ecas changed to decision made?

ECAS changed on monday 25th. Received passport on tuesday 26th. VIsa stamp date was saturday 23rd.

Congrats!! I am surprised, CHC would hold a passport for 15 months. When was your re-medical and re-PCC? Anyways, I am happy to see that you are done with this process and Insha'Allah will lead a happy and peaceful life ahead with your spouse.

I'm pretty sure that's a record for holding a passport in recent times. The process was always going to take 2 years, they just requested the passport too early by mistake I think, they grossly underestimated the time background checks would take.

Remed was 7th oct, re pcc was 30th oct.

I HAVE SUBMITTED PASSWORD THORUGH TCS EMAIL REQUESTED BY CIC-I.

My medical is expiring on Dec 13, 2013.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEND BACK PASSPORTS????

SHOULD I EMAIL THEM AND INFORM ABOUT MEDICAL EXPIRY

Hope you don't get stuck in my situation. If they can't send your passport in time, they will send you a request for medical furtherance before it expires. When did you send your passport?

Someone told me that for first time immigration you shouldn't take a connecting flight through Europe. Anyway, I was planning to stop over for a few days in Dubai before going onward to Canada. Has anyone ever heard of this being a problem?

For all those awaiting for their passports to be returned. Not sure if this is accurate as this was found on a website that hasn't been updated since 2010 but it gives everyone some sort of a timeline.


Q- I submitted my passport to Islamabad. How long before I receive my passport back from CHC Islamabad?

A- Anywhere within 15days to 1 month but can also take a 6 months or more in rare or complicated cases.

2nd Question

they ask me to re submit medical, pcc, forms and 3 question regarding our case i want to ask should i send voluntary our whatsapp conversation, viber history, etc or there is no need as they havent ask about genuineness of our relationship?

I have received my passport with visa yesterday on Juma tul Mubara.. I am very much happy
and i am glad this long process ends today,, and i pray for all of you guyz who are still waiting..
