I applied for my spouse visa back in May 2011.My online status is in in process on 7th march 2013. how much further time they will take to issue visa??

Many Many congrats!! This is the fastest husband case that I have seen!!!!! Please do share when was your wedding date and did you submit any additional documents or proofs during the waiting time. What do you think were the strenghts of your applicaiton?

My recommendation is to check out all provinces and their taxation plus employment market and be flexible with living anywhere. Good luck!!

Yep wrote to them but they never reply.Then wrote to case-specific center, they replied after 1.5 months and said that my meds were vallid till sept 13' and that it was stuck with 3rd party verifications! Anyway dude..congratulations!! Happy that you got your passport back! keep us in your prayers and best of luck for the future!

When i asked Ottawa to transfer my file to islamabad. This is what second time I got reply from ottawa>>

Your file is being processed by the visa office in Islamabad.

It is part of a work sharing arrangement Ottawa has with Islamabad, which is the reason why the agents at the call center saw Ottawa. But your file will be processed by an officer in Islamabad, according to the processing times of the Islamabad office. An agent from that office will contact you when more information is necessary.

Today (27/03/2013) I just got back my passport. My visa issuance date is 14/03/2013. Total process took 16 months. I am planning to fly in June and expected to land in Toronto.

I need lot of guidance regarding my settlement / first job etc. If anyone is in better position to guide me in this regard, please let me know.
