CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

salam to all ,

I have a question for people who just got their PP back is there a timeline given for you to report to Canada or Is it up to you to land in Canada at your own time ........ the point is i have just submitted my re-PCC which states its validity for 6 months so that means i should be expecting my Visa in these coming six months and judging by the processing time after PPR it takes around four to five months for them to send back PP with Visa ... and i haven't got any PPR yet .. so Im in a fix as i have to wind up a lot of stuff here as i have no one left here except me and that would require some time ... can anybody help ... : : : : :-\ :-\ :-\

I believe the deadline to land is dictated by the validity of your medical, not PCC.

Thx to almighty Allah.i finally got my Canadian visa.i and my wife were leaving in a hour to afg the man just came and give my whole documents. It was such a tough time I spent....my wife s leaving to toronto tomorrow inshallah. I will also go after a month bz im not ready to go with her...im really glad from my forum members.all of them treated me like family members. .special thanks to dear danny bro who always giving me accurate info...also thx to mujgan sis'mahwi.disfrust'usman'sabi'basil bro'khan'bilawal'sayedpost'innocent eyes'farhad'reflectman'fayzan and other forum members...thank u so much..

I am so confused now as my flight is already booked next week, and then there are no flights avialable anytime soon............. should I land with visa and expect Immigration at airport deal with landing documents or contact CHC----------which scares me that they may say ........wait until we issue you landing document and further delay my departure

I need to make an enquiry about my file...need to know wat's its status! can anyone please provide me the email address of CHC isloo and ottawa's ? And please what format should the email be ?

However, based on my experience and others, its pointless to email them.

Since our timelines are similar, and my application was transferred to Islamabad in Januaray '12 and to Ottawa and April '12 we can assume for now that yours is being processed in Ottawa. However, in order to confirm this, you should order GCMS notes. I sent the request on January 2nd and got a reply on January 31. So hurry! =)

well a relative of mine ... had it in 8 months and one member named babby had it in 6 months time ... but for that u have to be really lucky

AOR : DeC 2011
File Transfer to Islamabld : Jan 24 2012
Medical done : Oct 2011
E Status " We recieved your application on Nov 24 2011"
Nothing after that.

I was wondering if folks with same timelines can be in touch and update in case of any news .

judging from the pattern i have seen on this forum, you should see a status update somewhere in april, maybe you will find some consolation with someone closer to ur timeline . i just got a status update after 15 months of file transfer, seems to be the case with everyone i know.
